Portpack’s two piece Top Grab Loading Hopper is fabricated from carbon steel plate, grating is in place on the top section of the hopper to assist with the sieving of large lumps, an inspection platform is situated at one end of the hopper. The two pieces of the hopper are fixed together by nuts and bolts at the joint face, two of the hopper legs are bolt-on in design, this allows for the hopper to be shipped inside a 20ft container and dismantled if required to allow for shipment to other ports. The hopper is re-inforced to withstand the impact of touch open type grabs.
